FAQ

How do I split a PDF without sending files to a server?

Open this page, select or drop your PDF, enter the page numbers or ranges you want, and click Extract pages. Processing runs locally in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.

How do page ranges work?

Enter individual pages (1, 3, 5), ranges (2-6), or a mix (1, 3, 5-8). Pages are 1-based and ranges are inclusive. Duplicate pages are included once in the order you specify.

Can I extract multiple pages into one PDF?

Yes. Select any combination of pages and ranges and the tool creates a single PDF containing only those pages, in the order you entered them.

Are my PDF files sent to a server?

No. All processing happens in your browser on your device. Your PDF never leaves your device, and no account is required.

Can this split password-protected PDFs?

No. Password-protected or encrypted PDFs cannot be split. Remove the password with another tool first, then extract pages here.

Why is there no page preview?

This version keeps the tool fast and lightweight by skipping page thumbnails. Enter page numbers or ranges directly — for example 1, 3, 5-8 — based on your PDF viewer or print dialog.
