How to verify nothing uploads
You don't have to take our word for it. Two checks, each under a minute:
- Watch the network. Open DevTools (F12, or Cmd + Option + I on macOS), switch to the Network tab, then run the tool. You'll see requests for the page, scripts, ads, and analytics — none of them carrying your files.
- Go offline. Run the tool once so your browser has all the code, then turn on airplane mode or switch off Wi-Fi and run it again. It still works, because the processing happens on your device.

This tool rasterizes each page to reduce size, so text may no longer be selectable or searchable after compression. It is best when file size matters more than editable text.
Are my PDF files sent to a server?

Can this compress password-protected PDFs?
